หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร เป็นหอศิลป์หลักของมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และใช้กลุ่มอาคารอนุรักษ์วังท่าพระเป็นอาคารนิทรรศการและสำนักงาน มีเป้าหมายในการพัฒนาวงการศิลปะร่วมสมัยของไทย ผ่านการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะร่วมสมัยจากศิลปินที่มีชื่อเสียงทั้งในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ และเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปะร่วมสมัย
นอกจากการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการและโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนในระดับนานาชาติแล้ว หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรยังจัดกิจกรรมการศึกษา กิจกรรมศิลปะเชิงปฏิบัติการ ฐานข้อมูลศิลปกรรมสะสม ทุนสร้างสรรค์ โครงการศิลปินในพำนัก และเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ศิลปะร่วมสมัยอีกด้วย
The Art Centre Silpakorn University belongs to one of the top art universities of Thailand and occupies the heritage building of Wang Thaphra palace campus. With the mission to enhance the contemporary art, the Art Centre focuses on supporting emerging artists locally and internationally, as well as promoting Thai contemporary art education.
Apart from holding art exhibitions and international exchanged projects, the Art Centre also runs educational program, art workshops, collections and archives, artist grants, artist in residence program and learning center.
